History:

Doug Collins has been involved in property management since before his father passed away in 1966 and left him with the family business. Originally the two of them started off by managing office buildings and retail properties, but over the years became more involved in managing a variety of real estate properties.

Since the company was intent on expanding into the association management business, it merged with Tooman Associates and became Tooman Collins Associates. This joint business existed until 1997 managing office buildings, retail properties, and other real estate properties in the Tulsa area. The joint business sold to CB Richard Ellis, or CBRE, and became a completely separate business.  Meanwhile, Doug continued to work with CBRE for a year and a half until he acquired Bryant Company in late 1998.

In 2000 Collins and Associates began to shift its focus to the management of homeowners associations.  However, they remain heavily involved in the management of retail, office, condominium, and office parks as well.  Collins & Associates continues to expand in the association management industry by working with homeowners associations in Tulsa as well as other cities around Oklahoma and in northwest Arkansas.

Throughout its history, Collins & Associates has gained a wealth of experience from all forms of property and association management. The company has built a strong foundation for the expansion of its business to the Oklahoma City market where it intends to have a second office in the future.
